Hello, I'm Emily — a self-taught oil painter from Northern Ireland.

Two years ago, I quit my job and headed to India with my painting kit and no plan other than to explore my passion of painting. Since then, I've fallen in love with the Himilayan landscapes and they have become my main subject - travelling and painting them allows me to explore their endless beauty. 

I love to capture luminous colours and atmosphere, and portray this dreamy feeling I get in the places I go. Landscapes feel special to me because when you paint a place, you aren't painting something static. You're painting a particular arrangement of colours, textures and shapes that have come together, just for a moment, to create a feeling. And then, just like that, it's gone.
